“Bendir” l’eau à la bouche is an initial introduction to prepare a project in Rabat’s public space. For her first solo exhibition at L’appartement 22, Chourouk Hriech proposes a language of images, those from her repertoire and those of the immediate memory of her origins, transmitted by digital television. She uses the RGB colors (Red…Green…Blue) in order to transform a “photographic” image of Bendir (drum) players taken from Moroccan satellite television.”
