The Moroccan Ministry of Culture (via its Regional Delegation in Marrakech) has notified the AiM Association and curator Abdellah Karroum to immediately de-install the works on show at Palais Bahia, central venue for the 3rd AiM Biennale’s exhibition; “A Proposal for Articulating Works and Places”. The show opened on November 19th and is planned to run till January 19th based on the authorization number 1857 issued by the Regional Directorate of Culture Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz on 4/11/2009. No reason has been given for the Ministry’s decision, however discussions are still going between the organizers of the cultural initiative and the government officials.
